Lovely Summer Wedding at Brandermill Country Club [Midlothian, Virginia Photographer]

I’m excited to share with you this gorgeous, summer wedding at Brandermill Country Club in Midlothian, VA. What a beautiful place to have a wedding! From the golf course lined with tall pine trees to the elegant reception space, this is the perfect venue for a modern or classic wedding with beautiful indoor and outdoor portrait options!
This wonderful couple’s wedding was extra fun for me because at one point, we all worked at NBC12 together – I think I may have even trained the groom on show editing about 9 years or so ago 🙂 I love capturing memories for any couple, but it really is great when you know so many people on the guest list! And I also shot their engagement photos last summer, which you can see here!

The Glam Squad did an amazing job with hair and makeup as always, she looked absolutely beautiful! And I love a good braid, at all times 🙂

I absolutely love a “first look” and I always encourage my couples to do one if possible. I think it’s much more intimate to see each other in private for the first time, the reactions are always great, plus the best part is that it gives us way more time to do portraits of the bride and groom! No need to rush to get to the reception, and usually this means you can actually enjoy your cocktail hour 🙂

Father-Daughter dances get me every single time! You can feel how much he absolutely adores her 🙂
