What a beautiful rehearsal dinner at the John Marshall Hotel in RVA!
Event photography is always fun to do, I like to be the fly on the wall and take a journalistic approach to documenting someone’s special event. These two lovebirds has a gorgeous, elegant rehearsal dinner at the beautiful Hotel John Marshall in downtown Richmond, Virginia. This building has such a rich history. It opened in the 1920’s as the largest hotel in Virginia and welcomed an array of famous and political guests. Recently the hotel was gutted and beautifully restored to what is now modern apartment complexes, but they cleaned up the ballrooms to shine like new and be a host for wonderful events. Ok, enough of the history lesson 🙂 Here are some of the images from Justin and Meghan’s classy evening and probably the nicest rehearsal dinner I have ever been a part of! So let’s give a big congrats to the Hubbards! Enjoy.
The hotel opens up to this amazing staircase, we just had to make use of it!
The details were rich with elegant, golden tones. And look at that yummy cakepop cake!
Just beautiful!
Such a sweet speech by the groom’s father.

I had to sneak in a photo of the staff 🙂 These guys were great.
Close-up of deliciousness!
I can’t say for sure if these chandeliers are original, but they sure are stunning.
